My opening at Studio Connexion was so fun!  We had about 60 people through, the weather was great so many guests enjoyed a glass of wine on the patio.  Artists from the nearby town of New Denver stopped in as well as the town mayor and the editor of the Arrow Lakes News.  Two medium sized works were sold, "A Stone Buddha" and "Contemplation".  Afterwards we moved the party to Karl's Woodfire Pizza and 12 of us continued the celebration with dinner and more wine!  A wonderful kickoff for Studio Connexion's summer season of art, and my first show in Nakusp in 10 years.

Finally the work is hung and Anne and I are enjoying a glass of champagne while we wait for our guests.  Studio Connexion is a lovely home based gallery in Nakusp, and I look forward to sharing some of  my artworks with the community who inspired them.  At this point I have completed over 30 drawings, but I will only be exhibiting 15 in various sizes.
